BASIC QUALIFICATION

Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, (preferred in Education, Psychology, or related field).

Language: Fluency in English & Chinese with good communication and written skills in English.

Working Experience: A minimum of 2 years working experience in related areas.

 

EXPERTISE

 

  • Pastoral Care & Safeguarding: Proven experience in student welfare, child protection, and adherence to UK boarding standards (or equivalent).
  • Academic Support: Background in tutoring, mentoring, or teaching, with strategies to promote independent learning.
  • Health & Safety: Knowledge of first aid, fire safety protocols, and risk assessment procedures.
  • Bilingual Communication: Fluency in English and Mandarin to engage with students, parents, and staff effectively.
  • Operational Management: Experience supervising domestic staff, managing household logistics, and maintaining boarding facilities.

 

PREFERRED APTITUDES

 

  • Relationship Building: Ability to establish trust and rapport with pupils, parents, and colleagues through empathy, fairness, and approachability.
  • Discipline & Adaptability: Firm yet tactful in enforcing rules; remains calm under pressure and handles emergencies with a level head.
