OBJECTIVES
This role seeks a talent with a strong financial background who is also proficient in the application of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and foundational Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools. The incumbent will serve as the bridge between finance expertise and information technology, responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing automation and optimization projects for financial processes. The goal is to significantly enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial review, report generation, and data analysis, driving the finance department's transition toward Intelligent Finance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Solution Design and Development:
Communicate, analyze, and deeply study existing processes with Finance business users (e.g., data entry, reconciliation, expense review, tax filing, report data collection, report generation, etc.) to identify highly repetitive, time-consuming, and error-prone activities, and assess the suitability and potential ROI of RPA/AI.
Independently or collaboratively complete the design, development, testing, and deployment of RPA robots. Ensure that all automation and data flow designs comply with internal control and compliance requirements.
Explore and implement technologies such as low-code/no-code platforms and API integration to achieve cross-system data flow automation.
2. System Operation and Optimization:
Responsible for the monitoring, maintenance, exception handling, and continuous optimization of existing automated processes to ensure their stable and efficient operation; adjust rules promptly in response to business changes.
Produce clear technical documentation, user manuals, and process design documents (PDD).
3. Intelligent Analysis and Reporting Efficiency:
Optimize the generation and compilation processes for internal management reports and external statistical/audited reports, significantly reducing manual data handling and verification time.
Data Integration: Utilize automation tools to efficiently acquire, cleanse, process, and validate data from multiple systems (ERP, FSSC, banking, tax systems, etc.).
Responsible for importing the data obtained by the automation tools into the BI platform (such as Power BI, Tableau) and supporting the management team in conducting visual analysis.
Supporting management with ad-hoc analysis and reports when required.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Act as the liaison between the Finance department and IT/Business teams to facilitate and optimize the integration of financial, operational, and tax data flows.
5. Technical Support and Enablement:
Provide basic training to the Finance team on RPA, automation tools, and data analysis tools to cultivate an "Automation Thinking" and digital capability mindset.
Knowledge requirements for DAX language or M language (Power BI data modeling)
Proactively explore and apply basic AI solutions.
BASIC QUALIFICATION
Education: Bachelor's degree or above
Major: Finance Management, Accounting, Information Management, Intelligent Accounting, computer science and statistics backgrounds or related disciplines.
Language: Bilingual
Working experience:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in finance, including at least 3 years focusing on financial process automation/optimization, financial system implementation, or Financial Shared Services Center (FSSC) experience.
- Demonstrated success in leading or participating in the deployment of at least two RPA/Power apps/automation projects within a finance function.
Management experience (if applicable): None
EXPERTISE
- Familiarity with national accounting standards and tax laws; holding an Intermediate Accountant Certificate or equivalent professional qualification is a plus.
- Proficiency in the configuration logic and data structure of ERP/Core Financial Systems (e.g., Dynamics365).
- Proficiency in the design principles and application Microsoft Power Platform(Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps)
- Possesses foundational data analysis skills; experience with SQL, Python (simple scripting), or low-code development is a plus.
- Expert in advanced Excel functionalities and data modeling.
- Tax, analysis or internal control expertise preferred.
- Fluent English speaking, reading, writing, and communication skills. English level minimum CET6 or above
