Description & Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare and manage financial entries in the ERP and Kingdee systems, ensuring accurate and real-time synchronization of cafeteria-related accounts between both systems. • Guide the service department in allocating student meal costs according to policies and generate periodic cost analysis reports. • Oversee the collection of student meal fees (cash/online payments), track overdue accounts, and follow up on outstanding payments. • Issue meal fee fapiaos to parents and assist vendors in preparing compliant billing documents. • Support government inspections related to school meals and uniforms, including preparing audit materials and ensuring compliance with regulations. • Collaborate with the service department to prepare contracts for school uniforms/meals and manage associated payment processes. • Perform bank reconciliations and specialized catering account reconciliations to ensure accuracy between records and actual transactions. • Assist in preparing management reports and optimize AP/AR workflows to enhance efficiency. • Actively participate in relevant training sessions to stay updated on financial policies and system improvements. • Complete additional tasks assigned by direct supervisors as needed. www.wellingtoncollege.cn
JOB QUALIFICATIONS BASIC QUALIFICATION Bachelor’s degree or above Majoring in Accountancy LANGUAGE Native Chinese speaker with fluent written and spoken English EXPERTISE • Prior experience in the catering or education sector, with familiarity in AP/AR-specific processes (e.g., tuition fee policies, refunds) is highly preferred. • Fluency in English and Chinese Independent and responsible High integrity and honesty Accuracy and attention to details • The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills with a diverse range of people and interpersonal skills • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and PPT for report generation, and aptitude to operate appropriate databases; e.g. Microsoft Dynamics • Ability to work to tight timelines • Able to work long hours and occasional weekends for events PREFERRED APTITUDES • Demonstrating practice that represents the five core values of Wellington at all times (courage, integrity, kindness, respect and responsibility) • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proven ability to communicate effectively with different types of people and in cross?culture environment • Strong passion for the education industry • Proven ability to work with metrics, numbers and trends, and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis. • Personal Integrity, accountability and credibility • Strong mindset for continuous improvement to meet or exceed expectations
