OBJECTIVES
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Officer to join our team at Hiba Academy Nantong. The BD Officer will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and sustainability of our school by identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and implementing effective marketing strategies. They will maintain excellent working relationships with school leaders, working collaboratively with other members of school's administration to develop more corporate relationships which support admissions and help grow school's portfolio in line with the group's strategy.
The BD Officer will be expected to contribute to the wider activities of
Hiba Academy Nantong and be an ambassador for the school in external communities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential growth areas for new cities
 - Analyze data to develop insights into the bilingual education in new market and make strategies suggestion to team accordingly
 - Working with BDM to Implement BD strategy, with a focus on driving quality enquiries and achieving the enrolment target
 - Cultivate partnerships with educational institutions, relevant organizations, and stakeholders in new market
 - Maintain regular communication with agency partners to ensure ongoing engagement and support
 - Prepare regular reports on business development activities, including key performance indicators
 - Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to strategies
 - Provide support to the admissions and marketing team for events when needed
 
BASIC QUALIFICATION
Education: Bachelor's degree or above. Majoring in business administration, marketing or a related field is preferred.
Language: Fluency in both Chinese and English
Working experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of working experience. Proven experience in business development, preferably in the education sector.
ESSENTIAL
- Proven track record of success in a business development role, with demonstrated ability to identify, establish and maintain relationships with executives
 - Excellent oral and written communication skills with experience of writing and presenting proposals
 - Team player, keen to work with internal/external team members to develop outstanding results for the school
 - Ability to build and maintain relationships with partners, especially agencies
 - Good personal and time management skill with the ability to prioritise workload in a busy and sometimes pressured environment
 - have a flexible approach to work and the duties to be carried out
 - Proficiency in data analysis tools
 - Results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets
 
DESIRABLE
- Experience of marketing, sales or development of management development programmes
 - Experience of business development within a bilingual or international school context
 - Candidates with Nanjing or Southern Jiangsu -based resources are preferred
