Description & Requirements

OBJECTIVES 

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Intern is responsible for providing comprehensive support in planning, coordinating, and executing various school events, activities, and functions. This role ensures that all events align with the school's brand values, enhance community engagement, and provide memorable experiences for pupils, parents, staff, and external guests. The Marketing Intern must demonstrate strong organisational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of marketing events, exhibitions and promotional activities.
  • Support with event logistics, including venue setup, vendor communication, catering, signage and on-site coordination.
  • Help manage event timelines, budgets and checklists to ensure smooth execution.
  • Contribute to marketing materials.
  • Collect and organise event feedback and post-event reports to evaluate outcomes and areas for improvement.
  • Provide general administrative and logistical support to the marketing team as needed.

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Creative thinking and ability to contribute fresh ideas for event themes, activities and engagement. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, confident in interacting with students, parents and external partners.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to manage timelines and deliverables efficiently under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Canva or event management tools is a plus.
  • Team player who can also take initiative and work independently.
