OBJECTIVES

Wellington College International Shanghai is looking for an experienced candidate to cover the position of Marketing Intern. This is a great opportunity to gain experience across a wide range of marketing activities while working with a fantastic team. The marketing team works with a diverse audience including pupils, parents, faculty/ staff and the wider Wellington community.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist in marketing promotional activities (e.g. social media & PR)
  • Assist with regular updates to website content
  • Organise and update marketing databases and SharePoint files
  • Assist in preparing reports and dashboards.
  • Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content
  • Support with video and photography for social media
  • Support marketing finance process, including filing, PO/PR, invoice and contract 
  • Overall office, administrative and marketing support on an as-needed basis


Personal Qualification:

 

  • Strong interest in marketing strategy and execution
  • Communications and / or marketing experience or course work
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Familiar with MS Office Suite 
  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative and prioritize effectively
  • Work well as part of a diverse team
  • Ability to take direction and absorb information 
  • Native Mandarin speaker with effective communication and interpersonal skills written and verbal English
  • Experience with video and photo creation a plus, even if not professionally
  • Experience with website and social media content creation and management a plus
